Week 15

This week has been really hot haha its been so hot that my pants end up dripping wet most of the day... this week has been a great but hot week. We ate alligator and manna ray this week... We had zone meeting and I got a big envelope with candy's from my Aunt and Uncle. Elder Morrin and I had a freak out cause there isn't twix or butterfinger here so thank you Blake and Julie.
For p days we manly play risk and ping pong so that's good and Elder Morrin has a Nerf ball that we play catch with... the member do alot of cat fishing around here. we are on the worlds # 2 biggest river so alot of people fish.
We've been staying busy teaching people. But in this area there is alot of less active members so were getting them back to coming to church. This week we had 114 people in church... this week one of the elders in the mission. Elder Smithson in a different area found a man that had a group of people about 120 that have been holding church but haven't been baptized and so they called the President and asked if they could go to this group and teach them,... its a Indian  village. so there gonna be opening a new area there some time.
Elder Morrin this week got robed out of his chocolate milk he bought and we walked about half a block and  a drunk lady stole his milk so that was pretty funny.
We've been teaching this girl named Sofie she is awesome... her father in law brother maydona gave me his cow boy boots this week, gave them right off his feet. super awesome guyhe looks just like  WYATT its crazy so I'll have to get a picture with him soon and send it home. I want every one to watch video called He IS THE GIFT: or in Spanish el es la dadiva. That's my challenge this week. remember why we have Christmas and share this video on facebook. love you guys hope you all know your in my prayer every night. love all of you.

Week 11

HELLLLLLLLLOOOOOOOO(insert wyatts voice here....)
Well been a good long week! Tuesday we had a service project with the Cespeds family that we baptized they  had us paint the inside of there house which was super fun just cause we have such a great relationship with them. It was really good I got to wear my wranglers and a t shirt. I've never felt so at home in my life hahah. You would of thought  Brother and Sister Cespedes pooped a gold brick when they saw that I had wranglers on. They cost alot of money here cause there such a good brand of pants to work in. I'll be honest they are a good pair of pants... hahha something about wranglers....
Then on Wednesday was our zone meeting that seemed to take all day and kinda really boring but oh well. Then the next day Elder Da Silva got really sick cause we gave a blessing to a little girl that's a member and she was super sick.. shes doing better now.. but Elder Da Silva got what ever she had and was out for the day. Then Saturday and Sunday we had stake conference that was really good.. I guess I still don't understand a whole lot when people speak in church but I'm trying to get the Spanish down. They had all the missionary's sing a few songs for everyone. and they had a little girl do a solo.. shes blind but sings really good! Then Sunday night the Cespeds youngest son had his birthday. He turned 10. and birthdays here are bigger than Christmas so we got invited to that and I no lie eat tell I almost popped. and it was just a blast. While we were there we started talking with a few people and now were teaching two of the sisters of Sister Cespedes so that was great.
Then we have today. P DAY ha was good we met up with some other Elders and just kinda toured around Formosa i guess you could call it. But there were some elders that were gringos like me and so they explained alot to me and just helped me out.
Transfers are on the 18th so in a week.... kinda exited just cause my training will be over and i wont be a neweb any more.. guess I don't have much more to say this week... oh yeah i got  some more letters this week. thanks to everyone. thanks Heritage Ward Relief Society  ...

 well tell next week!!

Stake conference is this week.. and they asked the missionary's to sing in it so I get to see Elder Gowans that's good !That guy is one heck of a friend to me. met Elder Grovers this week he's on his first transfer here in the mission... he's a small town kid from Utah as well,,, and went on splits with Elder Brough this week and got left in my area so i was in charge that was a long day... but we made it.. this week we had another baptism but his family is members so it was just us there to just help him but it still counts as one of are baptisms cause we filled out the paper work... so I guess that's 12 in my first two transfers... things are going good just hot and humid

Week 9

Its kinda been a long week this week but super busy down here so I guess that's all good,
We had interviews with the President and his wife this week that was good. My interview  started out with the President saying Elder Seamons "I know that this may seem hard right now but you and I both know you've done much harder things in you life and this first little bit may seem hard but we both know its nothing to what you've done in your life.´´´ so that caught me off guard

Then we had a wedding this week..  we just baptized M... and wife and M.... had a problem with smoking and drinking.. a bad problem he's thirty and his wife is 18. M would smoke close to 40 pluse a day and in one week he went from 40 to 2 a day and the next week he stopped cold turkey!! No lie a Miracle!! I'm really close with M he's a really good guy. He calls me his white brother.. they live in a card board hut and really no lie have no money at all!! I gave him one of my normal t shirts I had. I've never seen a grown man look at me like he did and cry of joy and hug me so tight! He's really funny and just loves joking around, that's how I get along with people is just make jokes and have fun with people. We have to remember that people have life's too and don't just live like us missionary's do everyday.
And one of are converts this week. Brother L gave the priesthood to another one of are converts Brother C. that was super super cool.

Then I had to go to Chaco to do my paper work Me and Elder Gowans went to fill out paper work to get are DNI which  is our ID for here... most the missionary's here haven't done that but they had us do it... once i get my ID I'll be a Argentine so that's kinda cool. It was like a 3 hour bus ride and we just sat and talk in Spanglish most the time. We bought a pizza and split it. and I don't know  it was kinda cool cause we had to get there and both of us don't really speak much Spanish  but we made it there and back! That was a long day getting up at 3 a.m. to catch a bus, but I enjoyed it cause Elder Gowans was my companion for the day it was pretty freaking awesome!! . But yeah just another hot day down here in Argentina  things will all work out

Week 7

Well its been a little better week but not the best. I've found it fun to look for the most crazy things to happen on a motorcycles.. people with ladders I've seen 7 grown men on one moto,I saw a lady breast feeding and driving at the same time.
Its getting a little hotter around here but I'm just living with it summers always went by super fast for me and I feel that this is just one big long summer I've been gone for 4 months now and its crazy.
We had another baptism this week that was pretty good. We have 9  in one transfer we've had  x2 the number of baptisms my companion has had in the last 8 months. We been doing alot of contacting but were getting this done down here.
Things are good getting hot I could use some normal food sometime in the next little bit.. we eat alot of the same thing hah but ice cream is good. I miss milk like crazy

What a week!!!!!!

Its been one long week this week...Monday  P day  on Tuesday .It was awesome it rained alot of the day and was just nice and cool..
A member family called us and asked if I could come work on there car they didn't know what was wrong with it so we went... I ended up tearing out a radiator and welding it and fixing the main hose  line with a bike tube 2 zip ties and some wire hahah guess it pays off to be a red neck some-days hahah. They invited us to come over the next day!!! On my birthday they made me Empanadas and a Tarta which is just a cake that was great!! Then that night we went to are investigators house and they had a Tarta for me as well pretty awesome i thought. That night they decided to be baptized as a family so the next day we had to go to central ,which is like a 20 min bus ride and we had to marry them so they could be baptized. We got all that worked out and did all that fun paperwork stuff and the next day we baptized a whole family I mean I've been here a month and baptized 8 people.
My companion keeps telling me I'm going be a baptizing fool.
But just been a long week seemed to drag on... sorry i didn't write yesterday it was a holiday here so everything was closed and so we had our pday today... and on my birthday we had a district meeting and I had two letters in the mail from Kayla so that made me super happy.. I got to baptize the father and the oldest son!!! The oldest son is 15 and bigger than me

I've been kinda getting better at Spanish and everything that's going on I guess.
We had a multi zone meeting this week with a "70" it was kinda cool I guess I didn't really under stand a thing but I was there I guess that counts. There were white people there so I kinda just stared at everyone like a dog watching TV.
I finally had a Argentine  BBQ and oh heck I was in heaven I had 3 in 2 days!!
Things here are good I guess I don't know what all to say cause still just trying to under stand.
I played fut-ball con la chicos yo found out that I'm pretty solid compared to all them they would run in to me and just get layed out.
I turn 19 this week I'm pretty excited I guess just another day in Formosa I'm almost done with the Book of Mormon in English.. Spanish is next hahha love you guys

It's been raining a just perfect amount for me at least. Everyone is wearing heavy coats and scarves. I've helped a few people get there cars un stuck out of the mud I guess all that time at sandy beach getting stuck came in handy . I went on splits with Élder Naumann who is from arizona... that big storm that was there hit his house i guess. It was nice to have some one to talk in english with.I learned alot that day and almost got eaten by a pack of dogs..I talked to Élder Gowans today my compainon from the MTC I guess he got bit a few days ago haha We had 6 new investigators at church this week.  We had 14 people tell us they were coming but it rained super hard on Sunday and when it rains here no one leaves there house... with it raining we got a phone call and told that we had to move out of are house to a different one!!! WEEK 2!!!!!

Well its been who heck of a week!
Well I'm still alive so I guess its been a good week. Well lots of people ask lots of different things... I don't know where to start with all this. I've already had one baptism  . I've got 2 more on the 20th and the next week maybe 3 to 5 more hahha.
It's been a great week, The weather is alot like Utah  hot then cold then sunny then raining.. but its good here.
I wont lie its hard and kinda sucks and just down right hot and dirty... but the members are amazing! my spanish still sucks.. people here mumble and just dont really even talk... crazy story's... hmm well all the little kids here love my eyes.... the girls my age always invite me to party's.. and all i have to say is I don't understand Spanish and than they just give up... some drunk guy asked me for money the other night... i always get asked if i have money cause I'm white.. but its my companion that has money.. his family owns a hotel on a big beach in Brazil and he was a model for coca cola and stuff like that... but he doesn't talk about it much.. his dad passed away like five days before his 18th birthday so its jut him and his mom and he just loves making new friends and stuff.. He's way good at soccer I'm only good cause I just stand in front of the chicos <( boys) and they just stop cause I'm a lot bigger than all of them..

I live in a little two story room thing..  That is 2 of my room stacked on top of each other... this really ugly ugly light blue walls I have running water but its all by gravity..  no pressure in the water here...  I eat alot of white bread and rice and chicken so far.. empanadas  are great!!!!  I eat alot of fruit in the mornings! its cheep and yummy i spend like 40 to 50 pesos on fruit witch is like nothing ha   A member does my laundry its really nice makes my life a heck of a lot easier the members are awesome!! Brother Chappie told me if I ever come back after my Mission he's gonna take me hog hunting hahah. They just had a baby the first day I got here .  Elder White is my zone leader with Elder Newman he plays baseball too so we throw a rock around sometimes.
People wake up at like 8:30 or 9 ish and sit around tell 12 eat a what they say is a big lunch.. then take a nap tell 5 ish... then just sit around and drink beer and mata...
I can out eat most the people here its kinda funny cause they wonder where i put it all haha!! and beer here is so cheep like so cheep so alot of people dirnk... for two beers is like 10 pesos and there about the size of sparkling cidder bottle.. so yeah.. there's like no driving laws so people drink and drive... and the police here do nothing about it....  um I don't really know what to say... sounds like everyone back home is doing good sounds like a few of my friends are getting married and  just doing alot of normal stuff.. well love you guys!! I've got alot of people to write back

Week One in Argentina

                                           Hola
So I'm still alive and some what healthy little sick but its not to bad. Ha So I don't even know where to start in this email, My companion is from Brazil and doesn't speak a lick of english.
I don't know if everyone heard but I'm in Formosa its a suburb and its one of the poorest parts of the country. People with alot of money here live in a concrete house and the poor people live in houses made of trash... There super small to like 10 by 10 is big...  its hot it smells like dog crap and super ghetto but i love it! Its super hard though cause I didn't learn what ever there speaking here. They all speak some indian spanish and just mumble really. The little boys and girls here love me though cause they've never seen a different color of eyes besides brown and I'm just 6 foot 1 of whiteness. I already had my first baptism. There are  dogs everywhere its crazy, and all you have to do is make some whistle noise with your mouth and they run hahaha its crazy ha well I don't know what all to say cause i have hardly talked much. I gave a blessing to a lady.  Its been crazy fun,
Some little kid about Trevors age called me bad names ha that was hard not to say anything and idk alot of the people here dont like the missionaries, And I stick out like a sore thumb ha every one around here drives motos.. aka moped ha it sounds like the Giles camp out 24/7
It gets a little cold at like 3 am. Our apartment is like the size of our shed but to stacked on top of each other. Yeah getting a little sick. Today its like 100 degrees ha it rained all day Sunday I had to talk in church... that was hard. only like 20 people in the ward. I spoke on Ether 12 .27 having faith in christ.
Its super diffrent here. I'm sure glad I have what I have. Its amzing here though. I cant wait tell I can talk to you though... I'm liking it here... Just remeber get on your knees when ever you can cause the lord is listening just need to pray and talk with him

And I thought this was cool but idk if I should tell you I got on the bus the other day and there was bullet holes in the window. People here dont like guns so I'm not worried... and we have phones  and Elder Kailen Johnson called me yesterday it was nice to hear english.I Love you guys.. alot. Tell the boys to work hard and keep there heads up cause that little bit of work in your life now teaches you alot! Talk to you guys next week

Last Week

So its my last week here at the MTC its been so great and learned so much I can't believe it.
It's really been a long week though.
I've been to the doctor for my hip.. hope everything works out how its suppose to. Elder Black left this week, so its just back to me and Elder Gowans.
I guess school just started for all Utah kids.? I'm still having a hard time with Spanish, but I have found out that the gift of tongues is a real thing. Super amazing love it here guess I don't have a bunch to say cause most of it here is just class work.
